In the picturesque town of Congleton, Green Grid Systems created a new pedestrian pathway using the innovative RootBridge panel system.

Designed to integrate functionality and aesthetics, the pathway features a curved design that gently ramps down from the pavement. It features a tarmac surface for a smooth, durable finish and ease of access.

To retain the tarmac surface finish, the RootBridge panels were supplied with pre-welded edging, creating a clean and precise boundary.

Due to the elevation of the pathway, the groundscrews and stubs remain partially visible. At the client’s request, these components were powder-coated in black, blending with the surroundings. This demonstrates the adaptability of the RootBridge system to meet specific project requirements.

The completed pathway not only protects the underlying tree roots but also provides a safe, accessible, and visually appealing solution for pedestrian movement.
