Meristem Design are proud to announce that the network of Mobility Hubs we designed, installed, and delivered for the West of England Combined Authority across Bristol and South Gloucestershire have won the CiTTi Award for Mobility Hub of the Year 2025.
This national recognition celebrates the transformative impact of the hubs - showcasing how innovative public-realm design, effective transport integration and sustainable infrastructure can reshape urban mobility for the better.
The collaborative Mobility Hub project - delivered by West of England Combined Authority, Meristem Design, AECOM, AtkinsRealis, PJA, University of the West of England and South Gloucestershire Council - has transformed the area, acting as a blueprint for sustainable delivery, ensuring the hubs enhance both public transport use and the urban environment while creating recognisable and adaptable spaces tailored to local needs.
The award acknowledges mobility hubs that excel in innovation, user experience, and measurable urban benefits. From solar-powered lighting and cycle infrastructure to clearly defined zones for e-bikes, e-scooters, bus connections and pedestrian movement, each hub creates a calm, green and practical place for everyday travel - supporting the West of England Combined Authority's mission to provide greener, safer, more connected choices for residents.
We’re thrilled to have delivered this award-winning project and grateful to our partners for such an inspiring and effective project collaboration.
