Bosworth 1485 Sculpture Trail - Chapter 4 - The Healing - artwork by Broadbent Studio
Created by Broadbent Studio as part of the Bosworth 1485 Sculpture Trail in Market Bosworth, Chapter 4 (of 5) is entitled 'The Healing'.
Installed in St James's Churchyard, Dadlington, this artwork is about reflection and reconciliation. The intimate setting led the studio to design a deliberately understated scale, allowing for connection and reflection and a moment to pause.
The installation consists of informal seating rendered in a sculptural manner, and the hope that it will become habitually used for quiet reflection is an integral part of the artwork.
Stone was chosen for this project as it is a traditional and durable material for a churchyard, and connects the pieces across all of the other installations in the trail.
