As part of a major redevelopment at RNAS Culdrose, CLD was commissioned to design, manufacture, and supply nine miles of high-security fencing to replace the existing perimeter. Over three years, they worked closely with design teams to meet strict MOD standards, becoming the specified manufacturer for the project.

The solution combined FibreFence mesh and gates, a non-conductive GRP system, with Securus S1, rated to LPS 1175 A1, delivering a certified delay against attack. While most of the system is dark green, select sections feature lighter green panels or striking red and white markers to prevent radar interference and guide aircrafts.

Beyond strengthening security, the project also planted 6,600 native trees and shrubs, enhancing site resilience and complementing the surrounding landscape.
