Redlynch was commissioned to provide a complete playground regeneration project for a prestigious school in Sussex. The current play facilities were starting to feel dated and the school wanted some fresh, colourful and natural-themed equipment and surfacing to re-energise the areas. Redlynch was commissioned to provide a complete playground regeneration project for a prestigious school in Sussex.
The current play facilities were starting to feel dated and the school wanted some fresh, colourful and natural-themed equipment and surfacing to re-energise the areas.
Solution
Three different areas on the site catered to various age groups, and the level of challenge on the equipment reflected this.
A mixture of climbing, trim trails, multiplay units, a zip wire and some tall slides will make playtimes fun for many years to come.
Safety surfacing was designed to be colourful and informative, with inlaid graphics featuring windmills and electric charging points on the track, helping reinforce the importance of a low carbon future.
