Handspring designed, manufactured and installed a series of habitat cluster posts, bug habitat poles, individual boxes and a W-shaped bug house letter to the revitalised St James Garden pocket park in the middle of Watford, next to St Mary's Church.

The boxes are designed to provide lofty homes for birds, bats, butterflies and bugs.

These are seen as part sculpture, part habitat, and part awareness-raising to the urgent need to provide space for nature.

As well as providing homes for wildlife they will also raise a collective consciousness to the necessity to include wild spaces in our lives and local environments.
