Addaset Resin Bound Pathway Installation

Pathways within the secret garden at the Hythe Imperial Hotel have been enhanced using Addagrip resin bound surfacing, installed by Addagrip approved contractor TP Group.

Set within the hotel grounds, the garden is a popular setting for weddings and events, requiring a surface that complements the natural surroundings while providing durability and reliability under regular use.

Surfacing Requirements

The project called for decorative pathways that would integrate seamlessly with the garden landscape while offering a robust, low-maintenance solution suitable for high footfall. A smooth, consistent finish was also important to ensure safe and comfortable access for guests throughout the year.

Installation

TP Group installed 445m² of Addaset resin bound surfacing at a depth of 16mm, including preparation works and the installation of a macadam base.

The works were carried out over five non-consecutive days, carefully planned to accommodate site conditions and minimise disruption within the hotel grounds.

Installation Outcome

The completed pathways provide a seamless, durable surface that enhances the overall aesthetic of the garden while supporting its ongoing use as an event space.

The project demonstrates how resin bound surfacing can be used to complement landscaped environments, delivering both visual appeal and long-term performance.
