Broxap is pleased to announce it has acquired London-based cycle parking company, Turvec. The acquisition reflects its commitment to expanding its capabilities in delivering durable and safe products that create smart and innovative public spaces.
Broxap is the UK's leading street furniture manufacturer, including cycle parking solutions. Having known and traded with Turvec for some time this strategic acquisition strengthens Broxap's position in a highly competitive sector.
Turvec will continue in its current mode of operation, successfully capturing cycle storage and external works contracts using its prompt customer service and expertise. By using Broxap's manufacturing resources and supply chain, it plans to improve customer experiences further through reduced lead times, combining expertise and resources to expand on what can be achieved.
The acquisition is expected to create new opportunities for growth and deliver enhanced services and solutions to customers, while consolidating Broxap's position as the UK's leading manufacturer and supplier of street furniture.
John Boyle, Managing Director at Broxap, said, "We already offer a full geographical service throughout the UK, from our Staffordshire manufacturing base. Turvec's market position and London location, together with their talented team, perfectly complements Broxap's offering and its comprehensive product portfolio, which encompasses all kinds of inclusive and sustainable street furniture, active travel & cycle parking, shelters, canopies & covered walkways, as well as outdoor play & fitness equipment. We're delighted to welcome the Turvec team into the Broxap Family."
George Hosegood, co-founder at Turvec, said, "Turvec has seen real success since the business was launched in 2015. We have grown a strong position as a leading supplier of quality cycle storage from our London offices.
Since first meeting Broxap, I have been impressed with the strength of their operation, speed of responses and the family feeling of the business. As part of Broxap, Turvec now becomes a UK manufacturer, strengthening supply chain and competitiveness. This will allow the Turvec business unit to grow substantially over the coming years.
I have no doubt that Broxap is the ideal long-term home for Turvec."
