Vulcan RCS crash-rated cantilever gate protects embassy in Finland
When an embassy in the Nordics required a crash-rated cantilever gate, they chose Barkers’ Vulcan RCS PAS 68 and IWA 14-1 impact-tested gate, developed in collaboration with its sister company, ATG Access.
The client required the the gate to be 3m high with palisade infill to match the existing perimeter.
Solution
Due to site constraints, Barkers designed a Vulcan RCS with a 5110mm clear opening. The entire gate was modelled in 3D to make sure it is viable and would fit the location before manufacture.
The gate and all of the parts were loaded onto a low loader and driven to Helsinki where it was craned into position, installed and commissioned.
