Delivering around 15,000 tonnes to this site in Bletchley near Milton Keynes, the client and MCM as a supplier have been able to meet and maintain their commitments to sustainable construction.
MCM was able to source Incinerated Bottom Ash aggregates in 1A fill and Type 1 size to expand the recycled aggregate availability in the area. This allowed the client to complete the project within budget, without detracting from its sustainability goals.
Sub-base for roads and paths
Across the development, the IBAA has been used to prepare the sub-base for roadways and paths. This has diverted waste from landfill and has repurposed existing non-hazardous waste material for its new use, ensuring natural resources are protected.
