Challenge
Sovereign Play visited Coates Primary School in Cambridgeshire as it wanted to explore options for developing its outdoor grassed area, and had expressed interest in installing a trim trail.
Solution
Sovereign initially discussed arranging the equipment in a U shape or zigzag pattern. However, given the square shape of the available area, it also suggested a multi-verse frame, which combines trim trail elements with low-level decks, maximising the use of space. The client liked this idea, and a quote was provided.
The school also requested a higher-level item, which Sovereign explained would need to be separate from the lower-level equipment and would require safety surfacing. Grass Guard matting was recommended as a cost-effective solution.
Outcome
The pupils at Coates Primary School are overjoyed as their breaks are now filled with excitement and energy as they explore and play on their newly-installed playground equipment.
Testimonial
