Steintec supplied its high-performance paving mortars plus design assistance, equipment and logistical support to the redevelopment of Lincoln Cornhill Quarter, which has been under construction since 2017.
The project has involved many design, construction and logistical challenges which required collaboration between the designers and installers with Steintec’s technical team providing ongoing assistance.
Project detail
The large public areas were constructed in phases to minimise disruption to businesses and the public.
Large expanses of paving without unsightly movement joints were created to avoid disrupting the beautiful natural stone layout of the area.
Steintec provided specialist mixing equipment to reduce noise plus high-performance rapid-curing bedding, priming and jointing paving mortar to help minimise disruption.
Lincoln Cornhill Quarter has been one of the most impressive natural stone paving projects of recent years.
