Challenge
Zenith Canopy Structures was contacted by The Ashcombe School in Dorking, a long-standing customer, with a requirement for shelters for a new outdoor covered seating area for students to use for eating, as a central meeting place, or as an outdoor classroom in the summer.
Solution
Ian Manners of Zenith carried out a site survey and recommended two 7 x 7m (14m x 7m) Airone Max canopy structures to be installed between the school and its tennis courts.
Georgina Stone, the Business Manager at The Ashcombe School, accepted the quote and instructed the structures were to be made in RAL 6055 Pine Green framework with RAL 226 Beige canopies, which fitted perfectly in the environment.
In addition to the canopies being installed, Ford Contractors carried out a complete landscaping of the area including artificial grass and picnic benches.
Zenith had previously installed one 5 x 5m Airone Tipo 150, two 8 x 8m Airone Max 175, and one 10 x 10m Airone Max 175 in other areas of the school.
A further 5 x 5m was added to the original 5 x 5m shelter at the Nursery School.
Result
Georgina Stone is delighted with the new canopies and said “they fit perfectly in the new landscaped area. The students are now enjoying the benefits of them.”
