Context

49 Neon Secrets, a geometric installation by artist Marijke de Goey in the 1990s, was hidden in a forgotten square outside the city centre.

Studio BLAD was commissioned to redesign the square to bring back part of the city and its collective memory.

Work done

URBASTYLE delivered large-format Fasonado concrete paving slabs in a range of colours for the renovation of Reilinghplein in Leerdam, Netherlands.

The renovated square is now an inviting space for people to meet, play, socialise and feel safe.
