Overview

Sovereign installed a new McKay Tower timber climbing frame with slides, along with a set of swings, at Old Buckenham Country Park in Norfolk.

Prior to being installed, the client had dug a 300mm pit, which was filled with bark after installation.

The works were completed in time for the park's big opening, as scheduled.

The client was delighted, as were visitors to the park.

Testimonial

Leanne Whitman, Old Buckenham Country Park:

“We are thrilled with our new play park, it has attracted a whole new market of young families to our park and we have had nothing but great feedback about it! It is aesthetically pleasing and sits nicely in our natural setting!”

Why did you choose Sovereign for the project?
“We chose Sovereign as we saw them at an Innovation Show alongside many other play park companies and their quality whilst also being reasonably priced is what pushed them at the forefront for us. The style of the play park and array of choice allowed us to choose a park that worked best for our site within a reasonable price.”

What made Sovereign’s design better than any others you received?
“We loved that the particular design we chose was unique and had not yet been installed anywhere else. We also liked that it was in memory of a member of staff at Sovereign.”

How did you find the design process?
“The design had already been created as we chose a pre-designed structure; but Sovereign were open to the small changes that we asked for, like a slight change in the climbing units which they accommodated.”

How did you find the installation process?
“Smooth & fast.”
