The structure is constructed from UK-grown FSC Douglas Fir timber and has a galvanised steel base. It also features four green roof panels and wrap-around seating.
Bird's Nest shelter can be delivered flatpack on a lorry with a crane for installation or, if access is difficult, a telehandler can be used.
Based on the Handspring's Crow's Nest viewpoint sculpture, the structure is also available with a coloured polycarbonate roof, or without roof.
