Addagrip approved contractor Unique Resin Surfaces installed Addaset surfacing to pavements at The Big Yellow Self Storage Company's new facility at King’s Cross in London.
Challenge
Unique Resin Surfaces was asked by Distinctive Paving to install a decorative, hard-wearing, permeable surface to 16 bays set within block paved areas. The bays also included paving slabs and a number of tree pits.
Solution
Over 110sqm of BBA-approved Addaset resin bound surfacing in a New Scandinavian Pearl blend were installed for the pavement areas, including the tree pits for continuity.
The tree pits were completed with vertical tree guards to protect the new trees.
Despite the intricate nature of the work, the installation was completed in a day in April 2023 with minimum disruption.
