Bailey Streetscene supplied seating and waste collection units to the state-of-the-art Catalyst Building at Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent.

The company worked alongside the client, Vinci Construction Ltd, to deliver a multifunctional and accessible social space at the entrance to the new building.

Products supplied

The Holgate table and bench was modified to incorporate an extended tabletop to improve accessibility for wheelchair users. The Holgate range features galvanised and black powder-coated legs with durable Sapele beams, creating a sleek and modern design with clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic that complements the new facility.

Ecoside litter bins supplied in matching black powder-coating ensure the space is clean and tidy. The Ecoside Bin is a product from Artform Urban Furniture and offers a functional and sustainable solution for waste collection in public spaces, with a unique and contemporary design and a range of customisable features to suit different requirements. The bin is designed for easy maintenance and cleaning, with a removable internal liner and a lockable front access door, making it ideal for high-footfall areas.

Wall-mounted cigarette bins with an elegant design have been positioned on the red brick columns. They are constructed from brushed aluminium for durability and house a good capacity of 2 litres.
