Langley Design worked directly with Waverley Borough Council to provide a range of cycle parking facilities across three of its car parks.

Solution

The sites had slightly different requirements, and Langley was able to offer solutions from its large range of cycle shelters to suit each location.

Godalming and Cranleigh utilised the Malford MCS201 and MCS204 cycle shelters. These were both galvanised and powder-coated in a vibrant blue to provide a durable and long-lasting finish.

The Haslemere site opted for the budget-friendly Sheldon SCS301 timber cycle shelter. Manufactured in a treated Class 4 Redwood and stained black, the unit features low-level cladding to enclose two sides of shelter.

All sites were provided with stainless steel Malford MCR200 cycle hoops with an additional low-level fixing rail to allow users an additional point of security.

Oversized Sheffield stands were used to furnish the cycle shelters with diversity spaces allowing for the safe storage of a range of bicycle styles, and allowing all local residents covered parking whilst they access the facilities at each site.
