Heavy-duty timber park benches for National Trust

Overview

Chris Nangle Furniture manufactured 12 heavy-duty green oak benches for the National Trust - Ashridge Estate.

Project detail

All of the timber was locally grown and sawn, and the benches were made in the company's Shropshire workshop in sizes ranging from 1.2 to 2.4m.

The benches come with long legs for root fixing for secure fitting.

Over time the green oak will weather to a beautiful silver grey, complementing the landscape.
