This high-profile project for Glasshouse Street in London included the design, manufacture, delivery and offloading, setting out, and installation of 13 large bespoke tree planters and 12 bespoke movable planters from a concept design provided by the landscape architect.
Urban SF's project team was set up to deliver this contract and included design engineers, structural engineers (to carry out finite element analysis), project managers and a fully-qualified installation team.
Project detail
The tree planters provide low-level accent lighting via recessed LED panels. The movable planters were designed with lockable and retractable wheels allowing them to be safely relocated as and when required. Both products were constructed with very complex fabrications in stainless steel and patinated phosphor bronze cladding.
