Langley Design worked with S G Civil Engineering to provide a covered area for BMW employees to take lunch breaks and encourage outdoor dining. The customer wanted something to soften the external area as they already had metal picnic tables in place. The customer wanted something to soften the external area as they already had metal picnic tables in place. BMW wanted to give the employees the option of covered dining whether that be shade from the sun or, more commonly in England, the rain.
Product supplied
A Sheldon SPG326 6x6m timber and steel canopy was chosen to cover the tables. The client opted for a clear roof to let the majority of light through.
