Challenge

Langley Design partnered with Inland Homes to supply a suite of contemporary exterior furniture for a new £95m mixed-use development in Ashford, comprising 442m2 of commercial space, 10 houses and 347 apartments. The areas has become a focal point for the high street and creates that hustle and bustle and injection of energy that has bought the town centre back to life.

Langley was tasked with transforming the external spaces into areas that can be used by all residents and visitors to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Solution

43 Langley LBN107 benches provide comfort and style throughout the development, ensuring a sleek and uniform look.

Within the courtyard of the apartments two SPG300 pergolas are utilised to provide shelter but still allow sunlight to shine through on those summer days.

Security in a town centre is imperative so a Langley SCS315 fully-enclosed cycle shelter with lockable gates was ideal in this scenario, allowing people to feel secure storing their bicycles.

Langley Design endeavours to aid the client with everything they require, providing the whole package makes things easier. With this in mind, the compabt provided additional items such as bollards, cycle racks, bins and even wheel stops, so Inland Homes only needed to co-ordinate with Langley Design when it came to supply and installation of the street furniture.
