Gramm Barrier systems NATURALSoundBlok® Absorptive timber noise barrier range was specified as it uses a unique double acoustic board design on structural supports which allow the timber to move whilst maintaining an acoustic seal for the full life span.

A trusted solution was required to minimise the noise from plant machinery so NATURALSoundBlok® Absorptive timber noise barrier was the right choice.

NATURALSoundBlok® Absorptive panels are constructed using incised, Tanalith E pressure treated timber which is sourced from an FSC approved supplier.

The panels consist of horizontal structural rails set at 600mm centres and one structural gravel board. The face side is then clad with vertical acoustic boards and cover boards and surmounted by a weathered calling. The reverse side is infilled with 75mm thick 100kg/m3 density mineral wool protected with a geotextile fabric then clad with half round vertical battens. All elements are fixed using stainless steel annular ring shanked nails and fixings.
