Overview

Langley Design worked with WeBlack Ltd on the William Morris Close housing project in Oxford to manufacture and install a number of timber enclosed green roof cycle shelters and hardwood benches.

Products supplied

The sedum roofs on the cycle shelters help the structures blend into the landscape and offset some of the carbon footprint created by the site, with the roofing system being supported by a robust structure made with structural grade Class 4 timber.

Hardwood iroko timber benches with galvanised and powder-coated flat legs were also manufactured.

The combination of these premium materials was chosen to complement the newly landscaped areas.

Outcome

As a leading provider of timber enclosed units, the company was pleased to be able to offer its services on this project to provide secure parking facilities for the residents.
