Ustigate designed and installed a variety of water features that flow through the Center Parcs village at Woburn Forest. Cascade water features accompanied by purpose-built weirs step down to the lake. The natural water features and planting form a beautiful landscape that brings guests closer to nature.

The supply for the natural waterway is extracted from the lake via pumps located in the dedicated plant room, and forced through a high-performance bio-filtration chamber and U.V before commencing the water journey at the head of the feature. This methodology cleanses the water from debris and bacteria and delivers clean and crisp water to the feature. To accommodate the falls to the lake, the features are stepped down with two weir edges in pool one and three weir edges in pool two. Both pools hold the water at a required level.

Ustigate installed a letterbox feature to allow water to flow between the pools and LED lighting to light up the features at night. The pools were lined with black butyl to create an impression of depth and finished with riverbed pebbles, larger boulders and poolside planting.

The water feature utilises a natural and untreated recirculation system continually circulating water through the three cascade pools. Ustigate provides annual maintenance to ensure all features continue to thrive.
