Coralie was selected by Yorkshire Sculpture Park curators in 2020 from an open call to find contemporary sculptors in Yorkshire to create a new piece for a private collector.

‘Laminae’ was created using polished stainless steel, ceramic mosaic and gold leaf. In this work, Coralie reflects on layers in rock and how that relates to layers in society and nature and how these repeat and change.

Coralie worked with fabricators and structure engineers to create this piece; she is keen on a stronger together philosophy.

It was installed in summer 2021.
