Langley Design worked with Swansea University for their new state-of-the-art Bay Campus, located at the end of Swansea’s waterfront. The £450 million campus is a research led university which offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and graduate courses across hundreds of subject areas, making it a desirable place to work and study. Langley Design manufactured and installed a timber clad smoking shelter with polycarbonate roofing. These features protect staff and students from the elements, whilst offering smokers a safe, secure and designated space to socialise. The smoking shelter also prevents non-smokers from being disturbed by second-hand smoke.
