Challenge

eibe was chosen to design and install a new play area for Annington Homes' residential project at Bordon.

With over 40,000 homes worth in excess of £7billion in its portfolio, Annington is one of the largest providers of privately rented housing in the UK. From one-bedroom apartments through to eight-bedroom houses, Annington specialises in building family homes, predominantly for the country’s military personnel.

Project

St Lucia Park in Bordon, Hampshire borders a pleasant country park and Annington's housing estate sits on ground that used to belong to an old army barracks. Contending with some quite extreme weather conditions, the eibe team pulled out all the stops to complete the £60,000 scheme during the variable winter season.

Play equipment installed

Working alongside Project Manager, Edward Key, the equipment specified included an Ecorino Kibo unit, Ecorino Kamet, swings, a floor trampoline and a Swirl Spinner.

Outcome

With a bright, colourful appeal, the units blend harmoniously with the natural environment and the products are sure to be enjoyed for years to come.

Like eibe Play in the UK, Annington has more than 20 years’ market experience and expertise, and teaming up on this project culminated in a delightful play area in the South East.
