Continuing their 30-year anniversary celebrations in 2021, Hy-Tex (UK) Ltd are proud to announce the launch of a new fully biodegradable product Eco-Haven™ Tree Guards..
Eco-Haven™ is an new range of biodegradable - but highly durable - tree guards, shrub shelters and vine guards. They incorporate a unique modular design that makes them simple to transport and are easy to install and re-use.
Hy-Tex director David Poole: “This product is a real passion project for me, and a lot of research and development has been undertaken as a company to get us to this launch. We feel that our new Eco-Haven™ product is a very practical and efficient creation. We have high hopes for it and feel that our customers will hopefully really see the benefit and advantages of such a forward thinking, environmentally considerate, solution.”
Eco-Haven™ is made from a plant-based bio-polymer blend developed by Hy-Tex, which recyclable, and fully biodegradable. The tree guard product offers the highest environmental credentials, providing a sustainable responsibly sourced solution with a significantly lower carbon footprint than other tree protection products currently available on the market.
Hy-Tex’s sales manager, Ryan Markham, comments, “Hy-Tex recognise the need for more eco-friendly responsible tree protection solutions, and David (Hy-Tex’s Director) has been quietly developing these products over the last couple of years.” Ryan continues, “We are now just delighted to be able to finally reveal these new products to the world, and to be able to launch the Eco-Haven tree guards alongside our latest iteration of our Ecotex 100 tree mats is fantastic. Especially now that our tree mats are available in roll format, meaning those using this product on a windy day no longer must chase after individual mats, as they are much easier to handle and manage on a tear-off roll.”
Hy-Tex celebrating 30 years in business has enabled them as a company to analyse their approach to their products.
