Timber playground fencing outlives play equipment
In the early 2000s, BCP Council (Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole) purchased a large amount of Jackon Fencing's Playtime® timber playground fencing, using it for multiple playparks across the coastline. Around 20 years later, the fencing is still standing strong around these parks, even after rebranding and equipment replacements inside the boundary
Some areas of the UK, much like the rest of the world, are tourism hotspots, and local authorities and councils thrive off holidaymakers visiting each year. Popular seaside destinations, such as Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, are ideal locations for families looking for a beach getaway. For families with children, playgrounds are a key part of a British holiday for an inexpensive afternoon out.

Christchurch Splash Park – now ‘Quomps Splash Park’
In 2019, the popular splash park in Christchurch Quay was refurbished while the existing Jacksons Playtime® fencing stayed put. Even in an environment close to water, Jacksons' fencing has not been damaged by rot.
