A mirror pool was installed at the Reception and Environment Centre (REC), Brackenhurst Campus, Nottingham Trent University.
The rectangular pool has clean lines and measures 10 x 5m. Whilst a shallow body of water flows through the feature and over a weir edge at one end, it appears still and forms a mirror-like surface in non-windy conditions.
The visual effect created by this technology mirrors the architecture of the surrounding buildings creating an elegant and contemporary feature.
This reflective watery mirror will encourage students, staff and visitors to pause and think as they pass through the landscaped area.
