When storm Emma hit the South West coast of Britain in 2018 one of South Devon’s lecterns was washed out to sea, where it drifted for three days. It was spotted by local fisherman “Winky Steer” who rescued the lectern from the sea and returned it to shore where, along with other recycled plastic signage from Fitzpatrick Woolmer, it provides interpretive knowledge to passing visitors.
Benefits of recycled plastic signs
With so many funding sources available for projects that have a green footprint, recycled plastic lecterns, noticeboards, fingerposts and interpretation displays are the ideal partner for signage and wayfinding projects, and will add credibility to funding applications.
