Challenge

Swan School in Oxford is the first new secondary school in Oxford since the 1960s and caters for 1,260 students.

As specialists in the education sector, Langley Design was approached by Galliford Try as there was a requirement for a vast amount of cycle parking facilities on this £30million project.

Work undertaken

Langley Design worked closely with ADP and Galliford Try to make sure the right products were put forward for this scheme.

By manufacturing and installing timber cycle shelters, Langley Design was able to create a much softer aesthetic that ties in beautifully with the surrounding cladding. The contrast between Langley’s galvanised steel hoops and the timber structures creates a striking visual.
