Langley Design designed, manufactured and installed cycle shelters and bin stores for the Drovers Place housing project in Huntingdon, which was shortlisted for the ‘Best Affordable Housing Scheme’ in the Planning Awards 2020. Aspen Build approached Langley after noticing the excellent work they had done elsewhere in the country. They wanted to know if the company could manufacture and install secure enclosed cycle shelters and bin stores for their project. The contractor needed purpose-built units that were made-to-order as these weren’t standard size units.
Work undertaken
As a bespoke manufacturer, Langley Design was able to accommodate the requests easily and produced a range of different units, with and without roofs, that met the client's design aspirations and also gave Aspen a high-quality product that met the residents' needs.
