Oak pergola with steam-bent laminated rails at show home
Handspring Design produced this circle pergola for a new housing development show house near Oxford. All timber was made from UK oak, with steam-bent glue-laminated rails on a 3.5m diameter. The quarter-sawn 200x200mm section oak posts and radial spars, were all milled and supplied by Hingley and Sons, Timber Merchants and Sawmillers, in Belper
