Context

FenceSafe Hire, part of the CLD Group of Companies, supplied Lancashire Cricket Club with the FenceSafe Eclipse temporary fencing system for while it hosted the Test Matches against the West Indies at the start of July 2020.

The Club was contacted by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to host the behind-closed-doors matches.

Brief

Stringent health and safety guidelines included providing wind-loaded temporary fencing where sponsors' branding could be advertised during match broadcasts. The fencing was also to act as a safety barrier in designated areas of the ground.

  • Must be a fully temporary system.
  • Include wind loading so as not to blow over at any time.
  • Must be compatible with screens that can showcase sponsors' branding and advertising.
