Overview

St George, part of the Berkeley Group, has completed Phase One of the London Dock development built on the old News International site in Wapping, London.

Over the last few years the Group has commissioned a number of spectacular new fountain features in and around London including this new dry plaza fountain at London Dock. For residents of a development located just a few hundred metres from the Tower of London, the custom-built water feature is a suitably high-profile additional attraction.

Project details

The fountain consists of 124 DMX controlled individual fountain jets rising up to 3m, with an additional bank of 6 jets rising to 6m in height. Each fountain jet is complemented with an RGBW LED light, also controlled by the OASE WECS DMX controller.

The feature includes a high-quality water treatment system designed in line with Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group (PWTAG) recommendations for interactive water features.

The dry plaza fountain was designed and installed in-house by Fountains Direct in co-operation with Applied Landscape Design and Elite Landscapes for St George, and is one of the company’s largest dry plaza projects to date.
