MUGA for Gainsborough Primary School at Olympic Park
As part of the continuing London legacy, a new MUGA complex has been provided for Gainsborough Primary in Hackney. The school has a strong emphasis on sport and takes part in various inter-school leagues. The playing fields, which are sited adjacent to Here East in the North West of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, are accessed across a footbridge over the River Lee.
Solution
Lang+Fulton supplied a MUGA fencing system manufactured from robust Verona grating panels and 100x50mm RHS posts in 3m and 2m heights for different areas. The rigid grating panels have a level inner surface and are mounted flush to the posts providing an exceptionally even rebound with panel to post connections designed to avoid finger traps and extrusions.
