Context

Signscape and Signconex Limited (SASL) provided a new wayfinding signage scheme for Kingsway Hospital, Derbyshire. The existing signage did not provide the visibility or quality of information required for this busy and complex hospital campus.

Work undertaken

SASL submitted a project proposal based on the optimal product suitability and included product design, manufacture and installation. Project cost and timescale were of particular importance to the client and this proposal met their requirements.

SASL’s Infocurve external totem signs were selected as the perfect wayfinding solution and a total of 14 totems were produced.

SASL took careful consideration of all site logistics and security requirements during the excavation and Hi-Ab installation process. Stringent measures were put in place to ensure all patients could continue to move safely during installation.

Feedback

Excellent feedback was received from Kingsway Hospital regarding the high quality of the Infocurve wayfinding product. They were also impressed that the project was managed and delivered within the timescales and budget agreed.
