A sedum-roofed cycle parking facility was created for Nightingale Primary School in the Tiger Way development, Hackney. A sedum-roofed cycle parking facility was created for Nightingale Primary School in the Tiger Way development, Hackney. This school has recently been shortlisted for a BREEAM Award in the public sector category.
Langley Design was commissioned to manufacture and install secure cycle parking for the project. The Sheldon sedum roofed structure was adapted to incorporate a covered walkway and entrance canopy to the front of the school. The green powder-coated finish used on the cycle shelter was chosen to match the schools colour scheme.
