To get a better idea of the way that noise pollution affects our daily lives, as well as the efforts being made to combat the impact, Jacksons Fencing commissioned a special report with the opinions of 2000 UK residents and 650 architects, designers and noise consultants.
The survey found that 63% of professional respondents think that noise pollution is a ‘significant’ problem, with nearly half of those believing that the problem is worsening. Despite this, acoustic barriers are still missing from many projects where they could have a significant impact on noise reduction.
