The City of London needed to replace two curved seats whiich sat either side of a path in a landscaped area in front of the London Stock Exchange. Due to extensive wear & tear, damage and vandalism, the two seats were beyond repair and unfortunately had to be disposed of. Since the seats are on the Jubilee Walkway route it was important to replace them swiftly.

Branson Leaisure were challenged to make exact replicas of the two seats with only the photographs of the originals to go by.

The seats were curved to follow the shape of the stone raised wall planters that sat behind them. We visited the site to take templates & measurements of each curved stone wall, then had to scale bench parts to replace the originals as near as possible using the photos of the old benches.

The new seats were manufactured in Iroko hardwood and protected with Owatrol Textrol HES oil.

We delivered and installed the two seats.
