ESFsupplied Stellar solar benches to the University of Essex for the Wivenhoe Park area of its Colchester Campus.

Stellar benches provide mobile device charging through USB ports located on the bench, and LED illumination during hours of darkness. The USB ports are positioned at either end of the bench under a waterproof cover, and utilise solar energy removing the need for electricity. The solar energy is stored an integrated controlled battery system for use as and when required. The stored energy also powers concealed LED lighting on the bench and can be utilised for WIFI and other reporting.
