Overview

DekorGrip approved installers carried out the installation of resin bound surfacing at Laverstoke Mill in Hampshire, home of Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery.

The distillery has been remodelled linking historically stunning features and modern design. Bombay Sapphire runs various cocktail tasting experiences, mixed in with tours of the grounds and provide a shuttle bus for train pick ups.

Challenge

Bombay Sapphire wanted to make the most of their rural setting yet make it accessible for all visitors. Previously, visitors had to travel along loose stone that was a slip hazard, difficult for wheelchair access and messy, bringing the countryside into their recently renovated buildings.

Product used

DekorGrip resin bound surfacing in a Natural Wicker blend was chosen for its natural look. The permeable surface enables rain to soak away through the micro gaps formed between the resin and aggregate. The resin surface is also UV stable (Ultra Violet) meaning the colour of the stone surface is protected from sunlight bleaching.
