Work undertaken
Responding with a myriad of creative design ideas that aimed to add harmony and sensitivity to the atmosphere and ethos of the hospital, eibe worked alongside Emma Carr, Arts, Creative Health and Communications Manager at Frimley Health Charity to effect the project.
The £50K sensory garden features tunnels, musical chimes, and educative play panels, as well as separate teen and sensory areas. The kaleidascopic space also includes seating areas, a sports wall, a Hobbit House for counselling, plus play and physio equipment - all designed to help patients whilst in the hospital's care.
Outcome
The end result is a lovely bright, colourful play zone that is sure to entertain children for years to come.
To add to the celebratory seasonal festivities, the area was opened by none other than Father Christmas himself.
