Requirement

Fitzpatrick Woolmer was approached by Root Studio who was undertaking a complete rebrand of Beonna Church and had come up with some unique designs for welcome and interpretation signs.

Work undertaken

Oak entrance signs include bold graphics to welcome visitors to the new community hub, while interpretive lecterns reveal the stories of the church and surrounding village.

Bespoke interpretation displays include routed details into rustic oak timbers with laser-cut metal decals; both processes allowing the fine detail of the new identity to be carried across different materials.

Printed graphic panels needed to faithfully reproduce the bold colours of the new identity and n-viro™ panels were considered the best solution, offering excellent clarity of colour, graffiti resistance and a 10-year lightfastness guarantee.

Outcome

A signage scheme was created that works well across different sign and material types, creating a visitor experience that complements the landscape and reflects the heritage of this Grade I listed church.
