Edwardian Phone Box Standards
ODDBALLS! Bespoke work comes in all shapes and sizes... We were asked by a public artist to come up with proposals for a mounting post to house some Edwardian Phone Boxes in a hotel grounds. These phones would create an internal telephone system so patrons can make orders at the bar whilst they stroll and relax in the grounds. How could we say

These phones would create an internal telephone system so patrons can make orders at the bar whilst they stroll and relax in the grounds.
How could we say no?!
After a handful of design proposals being rejected, the design that was accepted utilised retrofit lamp post base and ring castings to create a period looking mount. The best thing about using these modular units was that we were able to turn around the manufacture in less than a week and the cost kept surprisingly low. The client was shocked that bespoke handmade items can still be supplied in the UK in timescales and at prices such as the ones we worked to.
