Project details
Products supplied included tree planters, shrub planters, freestanding seats and stools, freestanding benches, and planters combined with integrated benching – 92 elements in total, delivered to site using 6 artic trailers, in a programme phased over 8 weeks.
Metal elements were fabricated from 2.0-4.0mm steel, zinc-primed and polyester powder-coated to RAL 7002 [Olive grey] using a durable, matte, textured paint formulation from Interpon / Akzo Nobel's D2525 Structura range. Timber elements were all fabricated from FSC iroko hardwood, machined to suit the various designs and applications.
IOTA was commissioned by main contractor Corbyn Construction Limited, on the basis of design, manufacture and supply.
