Non-slip decorative surfacing for cinema access ramps
The Picture House in Uckfield contacted Addagrip about the suitability of resin bound surfacing for two exit ramps at the town’s historic cinema. The old concrete surface of the existing ramps had deteriorated over the years and the owner was looking for a decorative, non-slip finish that would be suitable for exiting cinema-goers

Addagrip’s Terrabase resin bound system offered the perfect solution to cope with the irregularities in the old concrete surface without the need for installation of a new base.
Addagrip approved contractor True Grip Ltd made good the existing surface and installed Terrabase Classic with a Stonebound Bark Wood blend to the ramps on either side of the cinema building.
Outcome
The owner is delighted with the finish which offers a decorative seamless paving to complete the look for this iconic cinema which has been showing films since 1920.
Cinema-goers will be able to exit the film safely, in style and comfort.
